Taylor holds an Advanced Diploma in Biotechnology from St. Lawrence College and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Bioscience and Pharmaceuticals from South East Technological University. She has been working with ESG since 2022

Starting as an intern, Taylor has assisted with a variety of remediation projects, with a particular focus on the contamination of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in soil, water, and cosmetic products. She has specialized in molecular biology, contributing to bacterial and fungal DNA sequencing projects. Her work has included implementing quantification techniques and performing amplification using PCR and qPCR for Illumina MiSeq sequencing. In addition, Taylor manages hazardous waste and maintains the laboratory’s chemical inventory, while also serving as a resource of support for students and staff with research and laboratory tasks

In her spare time she enjoys traveling, painting and spending time with her dog here in Kingston.
