Prateeksha conducted her master's research in peatland ecohydrology, at Queen's University. She joined ESG in 2025.

Prateeksha's undergraduate coursework and research experience focused on hydrogeochemistry, hydrology and geographic information system (GIS). Using this training, she completed an undergraduate honours thesis in delineating geospatial trends in groundwater in the Greater Edmonton region. She completed her master's research on delineating the impact of a new method of peat harvesting on a northern peatland's ecohydrological functioning, utilizing her previous training and expanding her skillset. Her experience allows her to meaningfully contribute to ESG's projects.

Outside of work, Prateeksha enjoys reading and enjoys exploring Kingston's waterside walkways and neighbourhoods.
