
Celine has an undergraduate degree in environment, resources and sustainability, with a minor in biology, and a Masters degree in environmental science, with a specialization in conservation and biodiversity. She joined ESG in April 2020.
Celine has history of working with wildlife including Piping Plover surveys on the beaches of Newfoundland, banding Snow Geese in James Bay, shorebird surveys on the coast on Hudson’s Bay, and Blanding’s Turtle mark-recapture studies in Rouge National Urban Park.
Celine’s passion for wildlife conservation has carried into her current role at ESG where she is heavily involved in projects that assess the potential impacts of military activities on species-at-risk across Defence Establishments in Canada. These assessments have guided the implementation of various mitigation measures and wildlife surveys. At ESG, Celine is also involved in projects pertaining to Ecological Land Classifications, benthic invertebrate sampling, groundwater and surface water sampling, and invasive species management.Celine lived in Kingston for the first four years of her ESG career, but has recently relocated to Ottawa where she is actively involved in the dance community.
Celine's other interests include exploring local cafe and restaurants, camping, hiking, travelling, and spending time with friends.
