Anna holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in GIS, Physical Geography, and Environmental Science from the University of Toronto, with research experience in remote sensing, Canadian wildfires, and urban air quality. She has worked with non-profits in Ontario, the Ministry of the Environment, and on projects supporting marginalized communities, including Indigenous and Black populations. Anna has been part of ESG’s GIS team since October 2023.
Her academic journey in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Environmental Sciences, and Geography has equipped her with a solid foundation in data analysis and environmental research. Her expertise extends beyond her current role, as she has previously collaborated with non-profits like the Peel Aboriginal Network. There, she applied her GIS skills to create maps that connect community members with vital services, demonstrating her ability to use geospatial technology for impactful community engagement. Throughout her career, Anna has demonstrated a talent for translating complex environmental data into clear, actionable insights.
When she’s not working on mapping projects, Anna can be found hunting for treasures in antique shops, spinning through high-energy cycle classes, or planning her next big trip. She works remotely from Montréal, Québec.
