Anna conducted her Master's research at the University of Alberta studying gray wolves in the southern Northwest Territories. She joined ESG as a biologist in July of 2025.
Anna began research in 2018 where she completed an independent research study on Peregrine falcon provisioning using camera trap data in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. She conducted field work and research in 2019 where she spent a summer collecting biological samples in the southern Northwest Territories. She has a strong background in GIS data management and cartography, which she used to conduct a habitat selection analysis during her M.Sc. program. Her current work includes providing expertise on species at risk (SAR) management plans, invasive and alien species (IAS) management plans, and groundwater/surface water contaminant monitoring.
Outside of work Anna enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and taking her dog for long walks in Edmonton where she works remotely for the ESG team.
